The Pizza Bandit Raccoon was created for a design competition. The goal of this competition was to help the food truck Pizza Bandit create the next line of merch. Artists who participated were tasked to create designs for a shirt, hat, or bandana. I had the idea of the Raccoon because I have often heard them being called little bandits and I felt that it fit within the brand and could act as a small sidekick. Once the competition ended my design came in 2nd place overall but it did win 1st in hats, making it the new and only hat design. The Pizza bandit Raccoon ended up becoming a second face for the brand and it quickly became a beloved character. The hats sold out very quickly and because of this, I was able to sell stickers and pins of the design too.
